Jonathan Pang

My journey in visual arts began when I discovered how everyday objects could tell powerful stories through careful observation and composition. Growing up in Hong Kong, I became fascinated by the intersection of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary digital media.

Through my work, I explore themes of memory, identity, and the urban experience. My practice combines physical model-making with digital rendering, creating layered narratives that question our relationship with space and objects. I'm particularly interested in how domestic environments shape our behaviors and emotional states.

Studying at HKBU's Academy of Visual Arts would allow me to develop my practice further, learning from experienced faculty while collaborating with peers who share my passion for experimental art-making.
